Congratulations,
Jana!

I was so inspired by Jana's layout for a number of reasons that I'm very excited to announce her as the March winner! She chose the topic, "Focus on an item of clothing" Here is her layout:

Here is what the judges had to say about Jana's entry:
These colors, patterns, and scallops speak "baby" in a way that is fresh and lively. The crocheted lace is a wonderful soft touch while its color adds great color contrast.
We love the division of space and how Jana balanced it by placing white opposite the orange polka dots, and yellow polka dots in the journaling space opposite the photo area. This makes for great balance and appropriate "resting spots" so we're not overwhelmed.
The little section of patterned paper in the photo area leads the eye so nicely across the page toward the triangle of photos and then on to the journaling. The circle bridges the two sides perfectly (as does the scallop) and prevents the page from feeling blocky.
I asked jana a few questions about herself as a scrapbooker...
How long have you been scrapbooking?
I begin since August 2007, but there I didn't know what scrapboking really was I began with card making and stamping.
What are the main things you try to accomplish with your scrapbooking? What is your focus?
My focus is to concentrate myself in photos and the story I want to tell, and not
to give too much attention to embellishment, but try hard to journal as much as I can.
I want leave to my son and my family the stories about us, about him, things I don't have about my own childhood.
What are your favorite products or tools to use?
I love stamps, and my trimmer is my best friends, and Photoshop because I began to do a lot of hybrid like in this layout.
How would you describe your style or scrapbooking method?
I don't know if I have a style, people that see my scrapbooking say I have, but I don't think too much about rules, I just try to make the pages to give attention to what I want to say, and don't over do the page too much.
