Mine are going out tomorrow! My husband was going to mail them for me, but when I asked yesterday he said they were sitting in the back seat of his Jeep. : ) So, I will take them to the post office tomorrow. Sorry about the delay!

My parents divorced, too and I got "custody" of the photos. I made a "mom & girls" book, a "dad and girls" book for mother's & father's day; and with the family photos I am working on a family album. I know you don't get along but this will be for y…

Any weekend is good for me except the 24th-26th, because I will be out of town. I would love to host one though! Early morning (8 or 9-10 eastern) is good for me. Thanks for setting this up, Terri!

Fun, fun!

We moved to Maryland in September 2007. I was nervous and excited. I decided to start a scrapbook of our lives here, since we really only planned on staying for two years. And I must say, the first pages of my "Maryland" scrapbooks are very simple and plain. I have ventured out a bit more, tried new products, really experimented and truly used my "craft room," for crafts!… Continue

Finished the altered book!!

I spent five hours last night and three this morning finishing the altered book for my Basic Training letters. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it turned out. It has so much character and is much more interesting than having a pile of letters. Plus, I like that I can leave it out and read it when I feel like it. Or if my family comes, they can also read them, since they sent most of the letters.

I did use gel medium. Except. I bought Extra Heavy on accident. Ha ha ha. So I had to thin it out with water… Continue

Craft blog?

I think I might start using this site as a craft blog. I have a blog on Blogger for updates of our life for my family, but I am not sure they are interested in all the crafty stuff. Maybe some of it, but not necessarily. Anyway.

The next project I am going to start on is a different version of Noell's Holiday Altered Book. I am going to be taking the basic idea and transforming it for my Basic Military Training (BMT) letters and cards. The book I am using is one I found a few years ago at an an… Continue
