Checking in over my work lunch hour to see who's posting project work. It's a beautiful day here and would be fun to be home scrapping.
Scrap on ladies!

Really thoughtful gift for your mom in law. Sure she'll appreciate it every time she looks at it. I need to do something like that for myself to help remember family important dates. Very nice!!
Hi Girlz!
Have cleared a spot to play with some new distressing inks and papers for some cards. Doing a bit of embossing and then breaking out the last big purchase of embellishments to top it all off. Don't have long to play tonight since it's back…
I'm a newbie and directed to check in to give a shout out. May not work on anything tonight but will be back in tomorrow evening after 8ish when I'm home from work. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE PICTURES OF PROJECTS!
Well, I'm 49 physically but would rather believe mentally that 39 sounds better. As sad as this is going to sound, I tried to keep from becoming a scrapper because I was already deep into beading. My beautiful lil sis, Sheila Partee, had tried nudging me to it and I finally caved after seeing a coworkers album and the love that is put into these projects to preserve life events. Now, I try to mix beads into my scrapbooking as much as I can which gets my love of both medias involved. I too am also a slow moving scrapper because I desire perfection. I have to realize deep into, and hours later, that the couple pages with their imperfections will be just character to that page or I'll drag pages out for days. It is a love process though that I'm so happy to do, but better, share that experience with my younger sister.
Favorite Music:
I'm kinda spread out a bit from country to classic rock from the 70's, 80's & 90 to alternative. Love listening to all the different stuff you can find on internet radio while I scrap.
Favorite TV Shows:
Army Wives, Greys Anatomy, 30 Rock, The Office.

What a beautiful "about me" article! I'm so glad you found this site and joined. I though it might be kinda cool to do the online scrap. I too am so glad that we have this activity to share as there are few things that can be shared with much distance between us. I know there are ways out there to stay in touch like "FB" and such but that is just shared words. I consider scrapbooking to be something that is my own and when I make my pages or some other kind of project that I give with love, the people receiving them know that my heart and lots of love come with it. I believe this is a process that can bring friends and family close in a special way instead of just using words. I love you much my dear sister.
Now, if we could just work on the other one! lol
